So Joker tossed Harley in a vat of chemicals which not only managed to bleach her skin and destroy just enough of her clothing that you could see her underwear, but also managed to dye her hair a perfect red and black 50/50 split.

I read Harley's new origin. I hate myself. More or less still the same but managed to completely miss both the key to Harley and the key to the Joker's attitude to/relationship with her. In fact, missing Joker generally.

Because Deadpool was a huge hit as a generic mercenary/thinly-veiled Deathstroke knock-off. When he got a personality people only bought the comics to burn them, presumably.
