Comstock being a born again Booker from another world. JFC. That's my basic interpretation of the ending after digesting it for a few hours. The amount of mind fuckery. Also, using the Songbird on the zeppelin was an amazing experience. And the Rapture fanservice was great too.

But moving onto Booker/Comstock, Comstock-Booker got baptized and became a religious zealot. Considering he was sterile and couldn't conceive an heir, he decided to find another way to go about it. The Luteces probably figured that there must be a world where Booker has a child that they could then take for Comstock's heir. Hilarity ensued. Oh did I say hilarity? I meant fucking heartbreak.

The lighthouses and sea of doors representing all the possibilities. "There's always a man. There's always a lighthouse." Seeing the different Elizabeths and Bookers. Very thought provoking shit. Ken Levine puts every other video game writer to shame.

Going Old Yeller on Songbird after all the help it gave at the end really was sad. Though I guess the same thing kinda happened to Booker, haha.

That incarnation of Rapture could have been a door and not the actual Rapture, in the same way all the lighthouses weren't the actual lighthouses. I think people are reading a bit too deeply into the bathysphere scene when really it was just a bit of fan service.
