Hey guys, so i just got Hecca in chapter 11. I've been wondering if it's better to try and get as much done possible (like killing marks, farming gil and cp, etc.), or come back to Gran Pulse to do everything after i beat the game.
Id say keep going. You can choose to complete mission 14 to get the chocobos but there is really no point to do other marks until you are strong enough. You can farm a bit and try to max out your crystarium since Taejin's Tower is tough.
You should go ahead, maybe do a little bit of battling for cp cause things do get a bit tough in the tower, other than that, you might as well go ahead, leaves you with much more to do when you return.

I always advise people to continue thru to mission 34. There are many good treasures that the completed missions give. The CP you will get will let you get all the way to the end , as there are some fairly tough fights in the final parts of the game that you have to beat to reach some treasure spheres at the end, and there are parts of the game near the end that you wont be able to return too.
I think you should stay just a little bit to get some cp for some health, and I personally did all the compulsary missions and after fighting Bart and getting the expansion the chocobo ones (though I died a few times before I could complete mission 12 but then I went and got more health and I survived) and maybe get a 1/4 or 1/2 way through the new crystarium before going to Eden.
But what I did (it was pretty pointless though, I was just lazing around) was I completed the main path of the crystarium (stage 9) so I could go and save up some cp for stage 10 in Eden and orphan's cradle and now Eden is really easy XD though if you do that it takes time and patience so...
But what you want to do is up to you.
Hmm keep going. You can't really do much there until you get your crystalrium higher up.
The official guide tells you to go on too so i guess that would be the best too. At least thats what i did.
Personally i stayed until the i couldn't stay any longer and i couldn't bear it. Not because Gran Pulse is bad because it isn't, the adventure and plot drew me in more than the rest of the game did. Most people will say trek on but you are going to need to grind at some point the "following bosses" are pretty hard. I would much rather be grinding on those lush green field than that god for saken tower.
so when i got to sulyya (sp?) springs, i had some trouble with the mobs. So, i went back to Mah'haraba, and i farmed CP on the hoplites/cryohedrons. On lightning, I've finished Com+Rav+working on medic, on Hope i've finished Med + Rav working on syn, on fang i've finished Com + Sen, working on Sab. Should I go on? Will there be anymore good powerleveling spots between mahhabara and oerba? Keep in mind i tend to enjoy passing battles while playing through, so i enjoy completing the CP first then moving on.
Stay till you cap the opened levels and try and do missions 1-24 ish.

- Chocobos become available after mission 14
- Best way to upgrade weapons (early) is using 36 Sturdy Bones then Superconductors
- Good early gil: sell Incentive Chips that drop from PSICOM mobs
- Good CP in Chp 11: Behemoth vs Wolf in the North West corner of the map by the save point

You should stay. That's what I'm pretty much doing when I get back so I can finish out my crystarium grid before I leave pulse to make it easier. Mainly I also need to upgrade and max out weapons and this should be perfect since I'm trying to get the growth egg as well

I leveled CP by doing missions so the only place I saw to level was in gran puls central expanse where a behemoth king and another mob fight so I could preemptive strike.
You prolly could move on through Sulyya Springs , and on to Taejins Tower , there are leveling opportunities in Taejin's Tower.
alright i'll cap out my crystarium, but what are the benefits of doing missions 1-24? And should i try and star any weapons/accessories before i leave?
I have the axis blad starred, i have an aurora scarf starred, and the 2nd level of the +strength accesory starred and that's about it.
Once you do missions 1-24 you will have access to chocobos and pretty much all the warp points if I remember correctly. Dont bother trying to 5 star anything at the moment there is no point at all. You can easily complete the game with no weapons or accessories leveled up. Remember the better your weapons the lower the time is for a 5 star anyway.

It really depends on your game goals.
If you want to 5 star missions you can either do it as you first go thru the game , or you can wait till afterwards when you are all maxed and replay them 5 stars, I did them as I played thru first time 5 staring most only a few were difficult.
If you arent worried about 5 stars , certainly do some of the missions , they are good cp and you get nice items for completing each mission.
There is nothing really useful other than the mission which is located close to where 64 is which I cannot remember offhand. It gives the tetra tiara that makes the speed shoes (or something). Once you have the warp points and chocobos opened up to you getting around takes almost no time at all.

Pretty much crystarium, chocobos,. Weapons, warp points. If you got anything starred, you could upgrade it to the next form that way you have a much stronger weapon and stronger accessories. Have you got the treasure hunter trophy yet? If you haven't yet, you don't need to like stay there because you're. Supposed to be allowed to return to pulse after you beat the game I guess. So that's when you should worry.

there are no missions that award the tetradic tiara, however mission 34 does supply you with herme's sandals which can be upgraded to sprint shoes.

no treasure hunter yet, but i do plan on getting it.

Use chocobos to get to Faultwarrens (by the circle of cieth missions in eastern tors)
do that and farm lots of CP and upgrade your party, then go do stuff in oerba.
