^ Lmao, Hynad. I doubt the still in that video could have been traced, at least easily, due to distortion from the water covering his face. Also, a lot- if not all people use reference pictures, especially for fanart. So what?
And I love the fact how you claim that he traces, yet

this picture that you drew (which resembles most of Tidus' work, with clean and simple lines), could have also been easily traced as well. I just think you're a little jealous, perhaps? Cocky Hynad.
On a more on topic note, Tidus I've been following your website for about a year now, and I check your site almost daily for any new works or updates. I love all of your stuff. Keep it up.
You'd be hard pressed to find any pictures of us like this. If drawing clean, simple lines is all it would take to be called a tracer like he is, then most comic book artists in history are tracers. XD
Now as for his pictures of FF X, it was quite easy to make them fit perfectly line for line a still from the kissing scene. The same with the Blitzball Tidus, where the only thing he needed adjusting was the face a little. You should try to do that with his pics too, may get this boner of yours towards him down a little. ^_-

So I guess everyone else that draws fan art from a reference and does a good job on it is a tracer too then? And as for your picture, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to find one like yours (not being you and you girlfriend personally, of course) of different people kissing, that you could've traced and made subtle adjustments to in order to resemble you and her. And I don't have a "boner" for Tidus, because I'm not male. All I said was that I liked his art. ^_-
