This is the only thing I know about the Birds of Prey.

Man, I sure would like to beat that pussy up- Jake's straightness attempt.
I can't even. 3 X-books canceled and we get crappy 05 Bendis and a book shared with the Avengers in their place?
That only leaves X-factor and X-men for me to care about. WATXM is shit, Remender is completely incapable of writing an engaging story and I don't know what to think about Astonishing.

I have a bad feeling that Karma might die and if that happens, I don't care about the change in roster, I'm dropping the book.
We all know we won't see the New Mutants again in main roles, nor will we see anyone who leaves X-Factor in a main role outside the books unless it's Havok and Polaris. No lie. Even though the NM have been around since the 80's, the only one to ever really get the "Congratulations, you're now an X-Man" was Cannonball. the rest were obviously forgotten.
I think Gage was almost about to start breaking away from the Rouge Show. and now we won't see that.
I partly didn't like Cyclops but loved Uncanny and now it's gone .
No! Not Journey Into Mystery! Ugh, this is ridiculous. I really disliked the New Mutants becoming nothing more than a glorified clean up crew, but still sad to see the series go...again. I was just getting started on Rouge and the X-Kids, so I don't know how to feel about Legacy's cancellation. That only leaves me with X-Factor. Great.

With the treatment Cannoball got when he became an X-men, I'm glad the rest didn't make it. I doubt we'll ever see the NM or the cast of Legacy in other books. Gambit has his own book, but X-treme dealing with Alt Universes and Aaron not giving a single fuck about anybody who isn't an alien I doubt we'll see Frenzy, Chamber, Cannonball or Rachel anytime soon.
I'm a big fan of the New Mutants, but ending their book is a mercy. I'd have loved to have seen it handed to a new creative team, but honestly it's best that Dani and friends just dissociate themselves from DnA's horrible run and wait a few years before returning to prominence. I think the reason I'm not as upset about it as I should be is probably because it's been a realistic expectation that it would end at #50 for a while now. I just hope there's something more for them than leaving them in oblivion.
Uncanny ending is something I'm still coming to terms with. The Extinction Team are so compelling that terminating their run is ridiculous. I can't quite accept it. I'm sure they'll live on in another book or something. They have to. Turning Gillen's mature, challenging run into something goofy by Bendis is like a punch to the face. There has to be something more.
X-Men Legacy I'm not too upset about. Gage's run has been mostly poor until very recently. I thought they'd at least hand the book over to a new character now that Rogue's defecting to the Avengers, but apparently not. I'll survive.
The most devastating blow came with the announcement that half of X-Factor will be leaving. I'm actually heartbroken.
I almost vomited upon reading this. Please tell me you are joking. I think I'll be joining you on the other side, PhoenixSun.
Yeah it made me sick to my stomach too. I predict X-Factor will close 2012 with only Jamie, Layla, Terry, Lorna and Darwin amidst their ranks. How awful. I've faith in PAD though, I won't give up.
I'd urge the rest of you not to turn your back on Marvel yet either. There's stuff in the pipeline that hasn't been announced yet, so there might yet still be hope for the X-Books. Believe. One new book every week from October to February (or whatever their outlandish claim was).
On an unrelated note, Ann Nocenti on Catwoman, should I be excited or worried? I only know her as an X-Editor from way back when. Apparently she's been writing Green Arrow. Any opinions? I've enjoyed Judd Winick's run but everything Nocenti claims to have planned for Selina sounds promising (keeping the her "sexiness", jetsetting to to tropical locations, villainy, etc.).
Hmm alright. She's not leaving Green Arrow though. She's just handed Judd Winick Green Arrow #0 because she's writing Catwoman #0 and didn't want to have to do two origin stories at the same time.
As a big fan of BQ Miller's Batgirl I was extremely pleased when I found out that the debut of Batman in his Smallville comic would come with the one and only Stephanie Brown as his sidekick Nightwing.
Then someone pointed out what he was doing to Dan 'The Didiot' Didio and now the part is being rewritten as Barbara Gordon. Yes, you read that right, even in the alternate universe based on a TV show that never stuck to comic continuity anyway, only 'iconic' characters are allowed to be used.
Fuck. This. Shit.

I don't know. I just don't know. It's enough to make you hope the New 52 fails terribly and he loses his job and is replaced by someone who actually seems to like comics.
