So, yep. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but according to Squeenix's site, they're making some kind of TWEWY announcement in a little under a week. I'm getting the first game whenever it decides to arrive at my house , but yeah, I'm already pretty excited.
Honestly I can feel Vi's and DP's rage from here at the mention of a TWEWY mobile game.
And Chel, if they plan on using the dual screen battle system as before, which was kind of a key characteristic of the game, it's going to have to be on the 3DS. KEEP DREAMING.
My third favourite DS game (after Ace Attorney and Ghost Trick, naturally) and the cast looked amazing on the 3DS in Kingdom Hearts. If a sequel is announced, then I'll be a very happy camper.
Please be released on Vita please be released on Vita
If this gets released on the 3DS Imma choke a bitch.
(I know I will surely own a Vita at one point in the future, so it must be released on Vita. /notplanningongettinga3DSanymore)
Would much prefer it to be released on the 3DS. TWEWY is one of those games that I think just doesn't need the graphical power- its stylized art is better represented through the cartoony pixel art than through 3D models, which I think would be a huge waste of the Vita's capabilities. And, as Emily mentioned, revisiting the dual screen battle system would mean DS or bust.
That said, TWEWY was so great in large part because it did something out of the ordinary. I would not be against them switching up the battle system drastically to strike that gold again. This might also be in the cards, considering an early interview after the release of TWEWY had Nomura considering the Wii for its continued development.

Someone at Square Enix hit the GRAND REVEAL BUTTON a bit too early and put up the information for a new TWEWY arrange album on their Japanese store. The product description mentioned that it would include new tracks from...
