I would sort this beginning list by area of appearance from the get go, but my copy hasn't arrived yet, so I can't. Following the list, I will describe some monsters, and some will include locations.

As far as name translations go, I've gone with what I've liked the sound of. These translations are incredibly tentative and most likely won't appear in the final English release, and they mainly exist for the purpose of making the enemies seem a bit less foreign to players. However, some translations are currently official.

Hi, does anyone have any advice for fighting the blue coloured tortoises? I can fight the normal ones no problem but I stupidly went to do one of the quests and now all but 1 have turned blue. I still need to farm the tortoises for gold and if there a way I can fight the blue ones instead of just killing that only normal one left and reloading a save to keep repeating, I would prefer to do that. Thanks in advance.
