I loved wc3's campaigns a lot (on top of ladder on bnet which I STILL periodically play), but yeh WoW really pissed me off story wise. And this ending for Arthas is an even bigger joke lol. Quit WoW completely about a year ago. I hope FF14 has a strong story, or at least vast and important lore.

I played Warcraft since Orcs & Humans and WC3 RoC/TFT is still the best in terms of lore/character development in the series. Plus the whole introcuction and leading-to-corruption of Arthas was beautifully presented in the game. With World of Warcraft I thought they'd give a proper ending to it but NO, they slowly raped awesome characters (Kel'Thuzad - giving him the status of a mere instance boss; Illidan - way too rushed in TBC; Kael'thas - I'm still hoping his gay death was merely a setback; and Arthas himself.)

I just hope the last Icecrown battle, which opened today, proves me wrong. Whatever happens, I'm finally quitting Warcraft after getting mah LK achievements OHOHO

Well, i'm getting... more and more dissapointed at WoW lately? I've been playing the game for years, but i'm really thinking about moving on (hiya ff14!). I dunno. I really think that the whole Arthas role ended too early, but oh noes, we haaaave to release a new xpac! Holy cow. What are they going to do, release a new xpac every 18 months?

At least Warcraft 2 is still in my heart, hahah!

AND THEN, why it's not even in CG?! It's Arthas' end and we get that?!
