Of course not. By then, FFVII will get more attention than FFVsXIII will since I'm betting they're gonna make Kingdom Hearts 464734345458568967 with Noctis included. And well, everyone likes a more familiar face. Namely Cloud. They can't stop making him look better since FFVII.

it should be better. i love all ff ive played but i must say VII wasnt the best... oooh no he didnt!!!
look VII came out on PS. it just happend to be at the right place at the right time. it had a new faster platform then the others. all other ff have been on nintendo and super nintendo before that. i dont have to mention the memory differance between a cd and cartridge. for obvious reasons VII looked better and had more to do in it.
for the technology availible at the time VI was a work of art and SE figured out how to 10lbs of hammers in a 2lbs bag (info in that cartridge).
bottom line any new ff can be better than VII cause VII isnt the best. im not bashing it or its fans. VII was a great game.
My hope is that FFversusXIII will shut the FFVII fanboys the hell up about how "great" FFVII is.
I'm getting sick and tried of that discussion at work. All they talk about is how "fantastic" that game was and how all other Final Fantasy's fail. I do love to counter-attack with 'Oh? Since your such a big FF fan, what do you think names for the other characters in FFversusXIII are going to be?'. I end up getting the blank stare and claims that it's not real until I show them the trailers on an iPhone.
So for my sanity, I want Versus to be one of the best Final Fantasy's out there.
Until then, I'll just remind FFVII tard-boys about FFVI.

hmmm... maybe it's still too early to call but then, look at what VII had and will achieve..... d best ff game to date, the best antagonist and protagonist (probably), the hottest ff girl (tifa), a heart break scene for the gaming empire when sephiroth killed aerith, a kick ass movie, a sub sequel game in psp, special guset appearances on kingdom hearts and a possiblity of a remake of the game on ps3. So the possibility of versus matching or topping that is gonna be very very very hard....
