This trailer is amazing. Battles, gameplay, Odin, LIGHTNING. There should be more information on the storyline.
So far it seems like the adventure of Serah and Noel with Snow no where to be seen.
Seriously, even NORA showed up.
God I am so tired of 16 year old kids who are totally cliche and wants so save the world... Honestly, no wonder I play less and less FF and more and more Dragon Age, Mass Effect and Assassins Creed.
Regardless, Im still gonna buy the game when its brand new because it is a Final Fantasy game and I still hope one day I will truly enjoy the game, like I enjoyed X and VIII.
But I guess its me who is getting older... When I think back I was actually 13 years old when I played X.. eh.
Its mostly the childish look of the main characters that really bugs me. I truly miss a main character who is over 20 year and looks like a man!
One question though. Noel is the same characters as in the first trailer of lightning and the mysterious purple dude? He just looks more long haired and more mature than the Noel in the later trailers...
There are just some things that belongs to the FF universe that are considered staples or that signature look or timeless themes and mootifs and all that jazz. I have a bad feeling that you may be growing too tire of that and you will lose touch for good. Maybe not of course!
There are is almost always a few things about a particular games that vexes a gamer, but this is true to many other games, you get be completely satified. Perhaps you need to lower your expectations that SE will "man-up" the presentation of the characters. I highly doubt that will happen.
Besides, I think this feature belongs to FF Universe. A lot of characters are super youthful and ambitious and want to venture an epic journey. If you don't like that i don't think XIII-2 will make you feel any better. I do hope you could warm back up to that.

It seems Famitsu was updated with some old and some new stuff (http://www.famitsu.com/news/201106/09044894.html). Especially of interest is the battle Lightning has against Bahamut. Another point of interest is that there is no option of Auto-Battle.
It is so small and I highly doubt this is the best quality. Ugh, when is the 1080p one coming out! That is one sweet bow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder if they have limit breaks in XIII-2, which Serah can do some potent damage with 1000 arrows attack! LOLL
Um... the battle between Lightning and Bahamut is soooooooo awesome! I love that they integrate the riding of Odin into the battle, making it more immersive for the player.
Edit: I just wanna say Serah is showing an awful lot of skin like Claire.
