New FF XIII-2 English Trailer from IGN - Page 2

For some reason this trailer doesn't really excite me. Maybe it's just because they crammed a lot into it. I'm still looking forward to the game, but it's not gripping me in the same way it did on its announcement. And all that despite the fact that I'm generally pleased with most of the gameplay changes they've teased.

I don't like how that tinted montage implies that Sazh is missing or crystal as well as Fang and Vanille.

So it is confirmed that you can have more than just serah, noel, and monsters in your party but it seems you cannot control them. Much like guest characters in FFXII. Kinda neat i guess

Great trailer.

I saw Vanille, Fang, and Sazh, I don't know, those might be flashbacks.

All the CG scenes are epic.
The battle between Lightning and Caius is epic.
General battles are dynamic.
Serah's special attack reminds me of one of Sun Shang Xiang's attack in Dynasty Warriors 6.
I am not sold with the Chocobo racing and casino yet.
Oh, my, goodness, I saw Vanille, Fang, Sahz, and Dahj!!!
Shiva sisters... chaos?!
The theme song is very likable!

This was confirmed a long time ago; you'll be seeing many of the old party members show up in the party as guests. My guess is that Hope is one of them, along with Snow.

Which begs the question; why are female FF characters neglected from receiving the same treatment?

This is the only XIII-2 trailer that has really got me excited about this game. I was still interested in the game but previous trailers kind of made me question where they were going with the game and I wasn't completely sold on it.

Now, I can't wait! Good thing there are some good games coming out soon to keep my mind off XIII-2 for the next few months!

Just rewatched the trailer, and realized that Hope's outfit looks ridiculous, and that Snow in motion doesn't look to be half the flamer as he did in that still. probably because it was a far off shot of him defending, but hey, wishful thinking
