i thought Etro couldnt make anything so how did she make a world that dies and renews itself?
Etro has nothing to do with this is game, in fact she Arecia are completely at least in terms powers (and fact that Arecia actually plays a part in her plot.)

Not really, in the Normal Ending (Which label as True Ending in the history section) Class Zero died due to absorbing Cid/Luluwath's Phantoma into their bodies. It was only way they stood chance in defeating him.
Arecia.. just how powerful is she? She is human, right? Because, well, she
Spoiler:
was able to remove the 4 crystals in Oriense's history, which leads to the secret ending where no war happened and people who died are given a second chance in life.
From what I understand... she is basically... god? Tiz and Joker are her messengers. This is why she also has power over the l'cie crystals of Machina and Rem.
Apparently she has done something to the world over 600 million times. I'm not 100% sure what this is, but I do believe it means the world being "judged" and destroyed by Lulusath.
Tiz and Joker haven't met with Arecia in the last 3-4 times the world was destroyed. However, they *do* report to her to tell her that Class-0 stood up to, and defeated the Arbiter (Cid.) Then ask Arecia to go to ask Machina and Rem how they did it/how class-0 died.
She eventually decides that the world no longer needs to be destroyed over again, and removes all the powers of the crystals. (Including the memory-loss thing.)
Now I know why I never liked Arecia. She's a dumb ho just like Etro. I'm not even being coy here. When I read the story of the gods, I could not stand Etro for some reason. Oh joy imagine her in XII-2 and Versus. Also I'm pretty sure the person on the FNC logo is Etro unless that was already revealed and I just happen to miss that memo.
I have no feelings for Etro one way or the other...but all I can seem to think is that my expectations for the story (aka. none) were right. What is up with all this nonsense? At least the game will be fun to play.
They need to focus on the real stars and their baby making. (King and Seven, no doubt)

Despite all the confusing mass, Type-0 is still within the boundary of the common myth that is shared by the FF13s.
The three factions of fal'Cie=Pulse, fal'Cie=Etro, and fal'Cie=Lindse still exists in Type-o.
If we combine the information in game and the myth, it very likely to Arecia to be either Pulse or Etro.
fal'Cie=Pulse and fal'Cie=Lindse engages in this Spiral World which is Type-0 working on the one same thing they have always been doing: open the gate to the Invisible World.
fal'Cie=Pulse in Type-0 has taken the method of breeding strong souls that can open the gate, while fal'Cie=Lindse still believe killing all human still works the best.
Arecia might be fal'Cie=Pulse's faction as she is breeding the Class Zero to be the Agito in order to open the gate. But personally I think she is more Etro like.
so maybe Arecia is more like a Fal'cie or in a similar situation to Lighting and has been granted the power of Pulse or Etro.
Now it makes me wonder again why they even changed the name to Type-0 from Agito XIII with all these stuff we're discovering.

At the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere event on January 18, 2011, the game was retitled Final Fantasy Type-0 (ファイナルファンタジー 零式, Fainaru Fantajī Reishiki) because Hajime Tabata did not think it was similar enough to Final Fantasy XIII to warrant the old title.
Now it makes me wonder again why they even changed the name to Type-0 from Agito XIII with all these stuff we're discovering.
Yeeaaahh right.
It's like saying FFXII isn't an Ivalice game, put the fancy "XII" in front of its name, and turns out it's in Ivalice. I don't even know why they decided to change it from Agito to Type-0. I still struggle to not call it Agito XD
Either way I'll play the shit out of if it comes out in English.

so they kill all these people to open the gate to the invisible world? hmmm.. and now I wonder how Versus XIII would fit to all of this

hold on is verses in the same world as Type 0, each nation used to have a crystal and now only Noctis' kingdom has a crystal which just happens to be causing a war between the kingdoms. so verses and type 0 are linked together. whats the chances that the gods of pulse are trying to kill off these worlds at the same time to open the invisable relm only for Etro to save everyone at the last minute.
just a theory

Spoiler:
Yep, this game loses coolness points, because of the recycled characters. I can't help but feel that it falls like this: Cosmos (Dissidia) > Etro > Arecia. And Cosmos to me was kind of annoying, "You're a goddess you $#%#%^$%##! YOU DONT LOSE YOUR POWERS. YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS." I hope Etro just dies at the FNC series...same with Cosmos.
