I'm not sure neither, I have episode one on SPANISH, so I guess it's the only book translated officialy. What I loved the most of crystal edition was the T-Shirt, I think it was the 2nd reason that made me buy that edition
I wish I had gotten something like that. My "special edition" or whatever the hell they called it came with...
The game, a small concept art book, the incomplete soundtrack (It doesn't have New World or any of the DLC stuff so I consider it incomplete even though Square claims otherwise), and I got codes for the Genji Bow and Summoner's Garb. It was like $90, if I remember right. Oh, if only there had been a t-shirt or a necklace. </3

Yeah 90$, for me 100,15€, you can't imagine the way i signed to the delivery boy when he knocked my door, it was a mess lol. Yeah the T-Shirt of that edition is totally exclusive, I haven't seen it on SE online shop, but I guess they'll add it someday for sure, and as for the necklace well, I saw Serah's for...I don't remember how much but it was more than 100$ for sure.
Yea the OST is incomplete (because it only has XIII-2 songs altho some of XIII play from time to time), but when you see that HUGE white BOX and a metalic game box (which came for free on pre-order) with Lightning's face, you (at least me) feel like it was totally worth it

OST stands for Original SoundTrack. It is tracks of sound that were made for the game, making them original. Music made for XIII was not made for XIII-2. It is not original. Therefore, it does not belong on the original soundtrack.

So, SE isn't going to release anymore DLCs? How do they plan on ending this, then? I haven't ruled out the option of a third game coming out, but it seems kind of ridiculous to me. Should have just ended it in XIII-2 .__.

She's asking how they're going to plan the ending, but they don't need to, because the game already has one. Wether they decide to make a sequel or not doesn't change that.
I think that DreamlessBlu meant how do they plan on ending it with an ending that doesn't leave anymore questions for the player, and an ending that doesn't leave the player feeling like there is more coming up. Unfortunately, we have no idea what is going to happen in the future. I personally think there will be another sequel. But I feel the same as most that they should have given a definitive ending to this game.

New World is most likely going to end up being released on Charice's new album Infinity sometime this summer (if you're referring to the English version of the song). It was released early in Japan, though. I'm kind of hoping they release it as a single before they release the full album.
simon's right, the game already has an ending, for now it's up to the fans how they want to interpret it. Just cause it leaves some questions it doesn't mean they will continue on with it. They didn't with FF7 either, they ended with DoC which left questions as well.
I'm not sure if I'd like another sequel. I found XIII was better than XIII-2. XIII had a story which I could understand and follow. To me, XIII-2 was just a product of too much junk material, made during the production of the main game, pieced together in the easiest yet most confusing way possible.

I meant an ending overall, not just for one game. The way SE was acting with this series, I figured they'd give it an absolute ending. I agree with you on FFXIII. They could have just left it alone instead of trying to continue it.
That is the overall/absolute ending. If they decide to continue they'll make another, otherwise that's what we have. I don't understand what you're trying to say.

They seem to act as if they think they didn't elaborate the mythology enough in the first part, you had to read instead of play to find out those info. Looks like they're forcing Etro, since Etro will be important in Versus too and I can't even tell if I like it or not since I don't understand a thing. I doubt Etro is really dead though, that'd be too much... XIII-2 is a bunch of WTF moments without a proper connection to each other.

No, I was actually pretty satisfied with the ending, but to me, it seemed as if SE was going to give it a happy ending, because the guy who's heading FFXIII (I forgot his name) said he wanted Lightning to have a happy ending. Basically, I'm wondering how they plan to give this a happy ending, if they're even still planning to do that.

I wasn't.. too much things made no sense to me. Like...the special ending. It says 'In a distant future' but, how can there be a distant future if time is erased.. That's just one thing.
