Doubts on the game and it´s ending.

Hi everyone.

I´ve just cleared the game with all of the fragments and got the secret ending which was nothing more than Caius talking shit for a minute or so.

I couldnt belive that that was the so called secret ending so i started searching through the web and finilly found smthg about a new endind coming as DLC. Anyone knows something about this?

Ok that was my first question. Now to the others, there are 3 locations which are locked even once you finish the game (they are a the far left side of the historia crux when is not in the toogle view) This locations are for valhalla, serendepity and coliseum ... i guess you can unlock theme by buying theme? Am i right?

When you are in the historia crux, you can see little videos of the time period and location you wanna go. At serendepity at some point in the game i saw Sazh but never found him. Also you are told that there is a new part of the casino developing but i never got the chance to see it (also a DLC i guess?).

And the last question. Is the DLC time limited by this i mean if some DLC realeases last for a couple of months and if you miss theme you wont get the chance to buy theme again?

I don't think there has been a specific confirmation on a DLC ending yet but more DLC story content is comming and my guess is that eventually there will be some DLC that gives some ending or explanation. The three unlocked areas are indeed DLC and they should be available pretty much forever as far as I know. The Sazh DLC comming out soon should give us an idea of what to expect for story related DLC in the future and I think there will probably be a Snow story DLC etc. basically we dunno whats going on, just wait and find out

Well I have the preorder bonus DLC and the middle of those three far left locations is in fact the Coliseum where you can battle Omega, Lightning etc. The other two are still grey for me though and I have all 160 fragments and have seen the secret ending so who knows, future DLC. Wouldn't mind having confirmation on those two myself.
So I think you can only open one by buying the DLC.

The new part of the casino being developed is most likely DLC, we already know at the end of this month there is a Sazh DLC based in Serendipity so that will likely answer your question about why you saw Sazh there in a gate window and why they say they will be opening a new area soon.

As for your first question, we can only assume that we will get a true ending through DLC. It's been denied that there will be a XIII-3 but to be honest, I take anything Square Enix says with a pinch of salt these days. They have confirmed they will be extending the game with DLC though so it's a possibility.

Oh and I doubt they will put a time frame on when you can buy DLC, no game has done this in the past that I know of, it would be foolish to prevent yourself from gaining more money by taking it away when someone might like to purchase it later, right?

Sory about that it´s just that i am really new in forums and i still dont get fully how it works, so I posted on the first FFXiii-2 thing i found pretty much .

One last question. Do you know where i can get info about the DLC and coming releases?
