Final Fantasy XIII Japanese Release Date Speculation

So the demo in coming out in March 2009.
And usually the time gap between demo and full version is about 1-3 months.

So if the demo is coming out in japan March 2009, then the full version will be released HOPEFULLY(!) in Japan sometime in the Q2 (April, May, June)

And the producer said that they will make the time gap between release dates in other countries smaller. (like in Star ocean 4 there are just 1 months time gap)

So then if the peoples in US are really lucky you could expect to be released in USA sometimes in the late Q2 or beginning of Q3

And the folks in Europe could expect it sometime in Late Q3.

Complete guess. There'd been a Killzone 2 demo since E3 2007 and that's not out until Feb 2009.

I wouldn't hold out for a small gap between Japanese release and international releases, they have to port it for the 360 in that time which will cause delays.

Square said they would do the porting to the 360 and localization at the same time so there is a possibility that we may not have any delays

Square Enix says a lot of things.

What's there to speculate? The game will come out sometime next year. You've been waiting a long time already, you can wait a bit longer.

Oh, some of you have to wait longer because you won't import.

In GI ( Game Informer mag) The issue with Uncharted 2 it says that some sources close to Square said it would come out in the middle of the year in Japan and 2010 for the rest of the world I hope thats not true.

us version orbable late 09 early 10 becuase if not the 360 port will look horrible because the have to modify stuff so it can be compatible

Well...if they didn't make it so the Xbox 360 version HAD to come out the exact same time as the PS3 version. (Which makes absolutely no sense, but they made that decision with obvious influence from M$*) I think America would be extremely fricken lucky to see this in late 2009. I'm hoping for an early to mid 2010 release at best.

Personally Im Hoping The US Version Is Out By About June Or So In 2009. I Was Hoping It Would Come Out This Year In December So I Could Get It For Christmas But I Knew It Wasnt. But Yea Most Likely To Me It Will Come Out In The US By Like June.

no, i don`t think so. i belive that versus is coming to japan somewhere the middle - end of 2009 and the rest of the world sometime in 2010.

I beleive FF13 will be released arround September 2009 in Japan and arround January 2010 in the rest of the world. Versus is comfirmed to 2010, worlwide right?

Lets all hope that the rest of the world gets XIII in late 2009. I think SE will try to get it out as soon as possible now because its been in development forever. If its not out by late 09 lots of people will be pissed off
