View Poll Results: Do you like the FFXIII Battle Theme Song?
better love it you'll be hearing a lot of it in the game Whahaha!
seriously they could have done another remix or arrangement still with the solo violin theme as a battle them also. I mean this one theme is it for the whole game. You'll have that 5/4 rhythm stuck in your head before the violin part you'll be doing the rumba!
Who knows, there could be more than one main battle theme. Like in some RPGs where the battle theme changes once you've reach some point in the game...
I love the boss theme, my favourite's are 'someday the dream will end' from FF10, and 'Wind scene' from Chrono Trigger. As for battle music FF4 probably, winning theme=FF8. Hmm I know I have more fav's ... just don't remember lol
I <3333 it. Best battle theme ever as far as I'm concerned, though that could be because I have yet to associate it with grinding. I hope it'll have some good To Zanarkand/Aerth's theme style music, too.
It's my favourite FF battle theme to date, i have all FF OST's and i always listen to the boss themes because they rock but never usually the battle themes.
FFV's battle theme was the only other exception until this
When I listen to the song, it brings me into the FFXIII world. Something like, you are having an amusing advanture with FFXIII characters. It's great, I won't hate it.

Every layer of the string instruments used within this piece is strong, and the way the guitar builds up to the main chorus along with the drums is pretty hawt.
I've been playing this alot on the electric drum set at the school where i work, i have this playing in the headphones, it's a simple beat all the way through which sits at the back of the melody at most parts, but it's damn good feeling when you feel like your part of it.

Indeed. The hopped up string climax is getting all the love, but for me, it's all about the buildup.
