Square Enix will speak at Sony's keynote at TGS'09

The keynote that sony will deliver this year at TGS seems to be a big one. The keynote is entitled 'New Tactics for 2009' and there will be a panel discussion with Capcom, Sony, Bandai Namco and Square Enix

This year's Tokyo Game Show will take place between September 24 and 27. The full line up of speakers is yet to be confirmed.
It seems SE wants to play along with some of the big game companies like Capcom and Namco. I wonder if they're going to speak about Final Fantasy XIII/XIV... Maybe we finally get a Japanese release date for XIII.
I have the *bad* feeling that Square Enix will somehow rule this year's TGS...
What do you want to see from Square Enix at TGS?? I want to see something about Versus and Agito...

No, but in an interview Nomura said that the code the programmers programmed was PS3 exclusive.
It was something like "One of the programmers asked me: "Do we need to program with multi-platform in mind?", and I answered "No, PS3 exclusive of course!"
I'm hoping they will discuss somthing about Final Fantasy Versus XIII gameplay/battle system. They have been really tight lipped about that. Also hoping they will say somthing to the effect of Versus coming out in 2010, along with FF Agito XIII.
Also,
If they show us a new character for XIII, the battle system for vFXIII, and the name of at least the main character of Agito and his description, it'll be good.

Hm, it would be nice if they just focused on revealing things about versus and agito now, no more ffxiii stuff! I think that people have enough excitement as it is..

For me, I doubt that Square Enix will show us something big about Versus! I mean, I don't think they're gonna show a trailer for Versus in public! That means Closed Mega Theater for sure!
TGS 2009 will be the last TGS and the last big event for FFXIII! Square Enix needs to focus on FFXIII very strongly, they have to show all the Japanese Gamers and Fans (Of course us) New Attractive Stuff (A Huge Trailer!) not for Spoilers but to make sure that everybody reached their peeks and got hyped enough for buying and playing the game 100%!
I wonder if there is going to be a live coverage by games sites to be able to see Sony's keynote at TGS'09 with the four companies live like E3?

Something will be shown for all of the fabula nova crystallis games. It will be FF XIII's last hoorah and then Versus and Agito's beginning coverage.
I already know the Birth By Sleep is going to be resurrected at TGS as well.
This TGS looks to be very good, although I am expecting Closed Mega Theater for Agito, Versus, and even Birth By Sleep.
But there are always trailer description and possible leaks. Plus everything usually shows up in scans soon after.

Yeah, and I think that SE will always reveal some of their unannounced (big) projects at TGS. A lot of the currently-in-development games are planned for release at the end of 2009/Q1;Q2 2010. But I'm sure they're already working on other projects.

They aren't going to have Versus or Agito at GamesCom, I don't expect them to come up at TGS either. Too close to XIII's release date to publicize the other FNC games, they'll want to focus on XIII as much as possible and advertising the other games will detract from XIII's attention.
I don't expect any big new announcements from them either considering how many projects they have going on.
