She bit her lower lip and turned her face away from his view, she stood from the bed and made her way to the door, she placed her hand on the handle before speaking.
“Ill let you rest.” She sighed.
His smile faded and he watched her exit the room, she stepped out and closed the door behind her, she lent on the door closed behind her, the door wasn’t closed properly and as she leaned her back against the door, it sprung open and she fell to the ground, laying halfway between the door, she sat up and turned around to find Storm staring in disbelief at her, she smiled away her embarrassment and got back to her feet.
“Sorry…I kinda killed the moment.” Not thinking before saying what she did.
She gasped and clasped her hands over her mouth and quickly exited the room before much more untold information came from her mouth, she stood in the hallway, confused on where to go, but her mind told her to go to the ball room, and she did, she weaved back through the passages she memorized from the note Storm gave her in order to get to the destination.
Eventually she found herself outside the ball room entrance, she made her way in and this time, she took note of the room itself, before all she could really notice was a heavily injured man trying to stay conscious in the middle of the room, but now she was able to take pictures in her mind of what the room looked like, the room was filled with light, most coming from the large chandler hanging from the ceiling, the rest was small lights dotted around the room, making the room glow brightly, she had never seen something in such a dark nation so be filled with such brightness, she walked through the ball room, over the beautifully tiled floor, she couldn’t make out what the tiled picture was of, it wasn’t possible to be able to work out what it was unless she was above it, seeing as the mosaic took up the rooms floor, her curious eyes met the balcony doors, she quickly made her way over to them, opened the door and made her way onto the balcony, she found blood marks on the floor, but what really caught her full attention was the dining table for two, with a rose left on the table, no meals, just the rose, she pondered over it for a while, she made her way to the table and picked up the rose, she twiddled it with her fingers, after a while she sat down, kept the rose in her hand as she stared out towards the city, finding the lights coming from within the tall buildings fascinating.
Amia’s attention was broken by the closing of the balcony door, her head whipped in the direction of the doors, her moment of fright was relieved when she found Storm standing at the door, his hand still attached to the handle.
She quickly got up and made her way towards him.
“You shouldn’t be up, go back.” She ordered, while fussing over his wounds, checking the bandage.
“I’m fine.” He replied sternly.
His expression seemed troubled, his eyes where scanning the floor of where a dead body should have still been.
“Was anybody here when you came?” He asked.
“No, why?” She worryingly replied.
“It doesn’t matter.” He said while making his way to the balcony’s banister, he leant on it, and stared out towards his city
Amia with a puzzled face made her way over to him.
“Eventually you’re going to have to tell me what the hell is going on, you do realise that don’t you.” She began, “otherwise ill find out for myself.”
“Eventually.” He trailed off.
She came up next to him and picked up one of his hands and entwined her fingers with his and lent her head on his shoulder, her small amount of happiness caused her hand clutched to his to swing in the air.
*feels all happy inside*
God seriously, i felt so happy when i wrote this, i was litterally JUMPING!
GAHH! I'm just going to shut up and let you read.
“You’re going to have to tell me eventually you do know though.” She said recollecting the recent topic.
“I know.” He replied.
He sighed, he noticed in the corner of his eye the rose laying on the dining table, he walked over to the table, catching Amia off guard as she leant on his shoulder with him moving, she had to regain her balance, she spun around and saw Storm pick up the rose from the dining table.
“Yea I kinda saw that when I came out to the balcony.” She cringed.
Storm turned back with the rose in his hand.
“Stop killing the moment.” He said in a playful tone.
Her face cringed with excitement and shame, knowing she should have tried to ignore the fact of the rose on the table, but her curiosity was strong, he offered her the rose, and she took it from him.
“Did I kill the moment?” She said, smirking.
“No.” Storm replied.
He stepped closer towards her, focusing on her eyes, she stared directly back at him, focusing, watching his creep closer.
“May I have this dance?” He said slyly.
“Excuse me?” Amia said shocked.
“Dance with me.” He repeated.
“Ohh no!” Her voice rose.
She denied his invitation and stepped over to the banister, crossed her arms and kept her eye contact towards the city, Storm sighed in disbelief, he stepped closer to her.
“You cannot deny an injured man.” He said jokingly.
“I think you find I can.” She said, giggling to herself.
She turned back around to face him, and she found him inches from her, his body almost pressed against hers, he slipped his hand around to her back and pulled her ever more closer towards him, he took her hand, trying to fight back his force, but he easily overpowered her, she cringed, finding herself for the first time being taken by a man, she usually had her way with men, she could easily mould them to her wants and needs, but somehow even though she didn’t want to have her way with Storm before hand, now for the first time, she let him take complete control, he leaned in toward her and smiled so broadly at his successful attempt, all Amia could was let him lead her in this dance.
“You can’t.” He smirked, before they began to dance.
Despite the silence of the night, despite no music he led her around the balcony, making his own music in his head, creating his own steps, it almost felt like magic for Amia, touching the ground lightly with each step, not ever feeling this way before, she built up with excitement and amazement, she enjoyed every minute, every step, every twirl she took with Storm, right there, it felt like the world had stopped, but they continued even though time felt like it had ceased to exist, even though both of their heart beats raised and they both became short of breath, they continued dancing, it seemed never ending, but it had to finish, Storm slowly twirled Amia and led her hands back to his, leaning towards her, causing her to lean backwards, both out of breath, staring strongly back to one another, after that small amount of minutes, they came back to reality.
Still in the same position, even back in reality they didn’t let the moment stop.
“You,” she paused, “you dance well.” She exhaled slowly.
He brought himself and Amia back up and back to reality at last, she leant over to the banister to pick up her rose, Storm still clutching onto her other hand, she reached for the rose, Storm pulled her back, so she quickly fumbled to pick up the rose then she was tugged back, close to Storm, he continued to gaze at her, but Amia didn’t know why, she blushed from the silent attention he seemed to be giving her, she began to walk back towards the ball room, she brushed past him and made her way towards the door also adamant she wasn’t going to let go of his hand, he eventually tagged behind her, as they made their way through the ball room, he stuck close behind her, now she knew she was leading him, they both kept walking in silence, once they made it to the outside of Storms bedroom, the silence was broken.
“I guess goodnight then.” Amia said, trailing off the sentence.
She began to walk away, even despite she didn’t have a clue where she was going, he kept hold of her hand, causing to her to recoil, she seemed stunned and looked at Storm, he quickly checked his watch, 1:02am, but he didn’t care about the time at that point.
“No.” He protested lightly.
He pulled her closer towards him, making tension between each other stronger, but Amia seemed to deny his overgrowing affection, she turned her head from view, looking away, shutting out any emotion which came from him.
“I’m sorry.” She sighed.
“Why?” He questioned.
“Because…you the most stubborn person I’ve ever laid my eyes on,” she cried, “but still, I can’t help but adore you because of it.”
He brought her head back round facing him, he wiped away her small amount of tears and he opened his bedroom door, and despite her earlier pleads of not continuing.
Amia followed him.
Argg, i've lost all insparation, well maybe it was that galaxy mini roll i ate.
Yea it was the mini roll.
He turned back and shut the door behind them; Amia wandered off towards the middle of the room, Storm, still stood at the door and contemplated how beautiful she looked in the dress.
“You look beautiful.” He said.
She turned around suddenly, absolutely stunned from the words that came from his mouth, she seemed to have a face of worry on her, but it was a face of shock.
“I’m sorry; I didn’t get around to it back at the ball room.” He continued.
Amia made her way back towards Storm.
“Well I don’t blame you, it would have been hard to say anything at all with just receiving bullets to you gut.” She laughed.
“Whose dress is this anyway?” She questioned.
“My mothers,” he paused, “it was her dancing dress, but you defiantly look better in it than she ever did.”
“Is that so?” She smirked.
She came in closer proximity to him, until she embraced him with a hug, Storm surprised by her actions didn’t know what to do at first, but eventually, he responded by hugging her tightly.
“Thank you.” She whispered as she rested her head on his shoulder.
The both stood at the same spot for a while, embracing each other tightly, not saying a word, but body language spoke louder than words spoke through a person’s mouth, Storm slowly slid his arms down her back, instantly making Amia react with slapping him firmly around the face, and he laughed.
“I was expecting that.” He said clumsily while rubbing his cheek.
She reacted with a stern look, then she released his hand from his cheek and she cupped his face in her hands.
“Why do you seem so happy around me?” She questioned.
“Because, you make me happy.” He replied muffled from her hands squeezing his cheeks a little.
“I’ve known you just 3 days, how is that possible.” She questioned him again.
“Maybe because you act how you want to, making my worries melt, you make me feel whole.” He answered.
She was stunned by his reply, she had never had somebody say something, something at meant so much to her, and suddenly she couldn’t help but feel the same way in the excitement of that moment.
“You’re a bastard, you know that.” She joked.
He smiled, she concluded her sentence with a short giggle and a smile, she brought his face closer to her and she finished her questions with a light kiss on his lips.
